How Baby is incorporated:
Babies can be set up beside you to play, stare and giggle, or maybe sleeping :-). Modifications can be made for Moms who’d like to use their carrier.
Fall 2020 Classes
Strength (Low Impact)
This class will focus on strength and toning your entire body with low impact cardio and strength exercises. Great for new moms just recovering or moms looking to strengthen their body at any stage.
Guaranteed to get your heart rate up and feel the burn.

How baby is incorporated:
Moms can choose to wear baby in the carrier, leave them in the car seat or set up a nice area beside them for baby to play, stare and giggle.
HIIT Bootcamp
Our HIIT (high intensity interval training) boot camp incorporates a variety of different training styles – giving you a unique and different workout every week.
Don’t let the high intensity throw you – we always offer modifications to ensure you’re going at a pace that challenges you but also suits your stage of postnatal recovery.

How Baby is incorporated:
Baby can remain in the car seat, stroller or Mom can set up a mat beside them for baby to play, stare and giggle. Modifications can be made for Moms who prefer to have baby in Carrier.
Core Express
Yes you can strengthen your core after baby! It’s just not an overnight process. I always say – strengthening your core after baby is like renovating your kitchen. You have no problem dedicating the budget to the new countertops and cabinets – but when it comes to updating the wiring (the stuff you don’t see) – frustrations begin. Well – your core is the wiring. We will work on giving you the strong foundation so that you feel strong, more confident, have less back pain and better posture. It’s always recommended to see a specialist to ensure you do not have Diastasis Recti (DR). The class can be modified for all levels.

Baby can play beside mum or sleep. We can ticket and snuggle to keep baby engaged.
Winter 2020 Schedule …
Virtual Classes
We don’t want you to miss out because of nap times, distance or comfort level with group gatherings – soooo – join us LIVE! Your classes will be completely virtual and you’ll get to see the ladies in the studio as well.
For those participants that would like to incorporate weights into the fitness classes – ensure they are beside you. You can opt for soup cans, water bottles or just modify the upper body components to body weight.

Meet your SuperMom tribe with Fitness by the Lake. We have multiple fitness and yoga classes for you and your little one.
Little ones can be as young as 8 weeks (as long as Mom has been cleared to participate) all the way to toddler. Have a new baby and a toddler – bring them both – our instructors are always happy to have a little helper or walk around with baby.
