Mom & Baby FAQs

What to know before your first class.

Simple answers to the questions parents ask most often.

How do I purchase a pass, use it and book a class?

1. Purchase your pass: Select “Buy a class card” and complete your purchase through The School Creative Arts.

2. Use your pass: The School Creative Arts manages the class card and applies it to eligible Mom & Baby classes.

3. Book your class: Select “Book class” beside your preferred class and complete the reservation through The School Creative Arts. Purchasing a card does not automatically reserve a class space.

Do I need childcare to attend?

No. Your baby comes to class with you. Feeding, changing, soothing and taking breaks are all welcome.

What fitness level do I need?

All fitness levels are welcome. Instructors provide options so you can work at a level that feels appropriate for you.

What age should my baby be to attend classes?

There is no single “right” age because our classes are designed around how you are feeling and recovering. We recommend completing your postnatal checkup and speaking with your healthcare professional before returning to exercise. Many women are cleared around six to eight weeks postpartum, but every recovery is different.

You do not need to find us during the newborn stage. Babies and toddlers are welcome, so you can join when the timing feels right for your family.

Where are classes held?

Classes are held at The School Creative Arts, 160 Lakeshore Road East in Port Credit. The entrance is on Rosewood Avenue.

Can I use my class card for multiple classes?

Yes. Your class card can be used across Mom & Baby, Prenatal and Women’s Fitness classes, giving you the flexibility to choose the classes that work best for your schedule and stage of life.

When do outdoor stroller classes begin and end?
